Most Wanted Fugitive, Jeffrey Winston Forrest Captured in Mexico, Brought Back to Texas

Washington, DC (STL.News) The manhunt for a U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted fugitive ended Friday with the arrest in Mexico of Jeffrey Winston Forrest, 47, wanted by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department in Abilene, Texas, for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, bail jumping, and failure to appear. According to a Zapopan police release, Forrest was arrested Friday afternoon by members of the State Attorney’s Office, Zapopan Police Department, and the National Institute of Immigration (INM).  He was located in a drive-through store in Zapopan, Jalisco, after his presence and identity were confirmed with the existing alert in the U.S. Forrest was deported today and brought back to the Northern District of Texas, where he will answer the charges against him. U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Apprehends Man, Darian Watts Wanted for Murder, Aggravated Robbery Tyler, TX (STL.News) On April 8, the Denton Police Department began investigating an aggravated robbery involving a firearm that had happened around midnight.  Two victims stated that the fugitive Darian Watts had been at their apartment but once they learned that Watts had an outstanding murder warrant they made him leave.  Watts returned about 10 minutes later with another individual, both armed with handguns, and proceeded to rob the people in the apartment. A case file review showed that Watts was wanted out of Tarrant County for a murder that had occurred in April 2018.  Watts had stabbed a 25-year-old man to death after he kicked over the fugitive’s water bottle at an Arlington apart...

U.S. Marshals, Coeur d’Alene Police Arrest Fugitive, Ronald Whitted, Recover Missing Child

Coeur d’Alene, ID (STL.News) Late Tuesday, the Coeur d’Alene Police Department Community Action Team and the U.S. Marshals Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force arrested a fugitive and rescued a missing child in Coeur d’Alene. Ronald Whitted, 47, of Fort Worth, Texas, was arrested on charges of interference with child custody – court order.  On or around March 17, Whitted allegedly fled the state with his 6-year-old son and was believed to have attempted to flee the country.  Authorities also believed the child was in danger.  The Hurst Police Department in Hurst, Texas, requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force to help locate Whitted and his son.  Members of the task force quickly learned Whitted possibly traveled to Idaho and subsequently contacted the U....

On October 8 in Memphis, TN multiple people were shot at the intersection of Barton and S. Parkway.  Hussein Hasan was shot to death.  A warrant was issued for the arrest of Melvin Tyler for this crime on 10/26/2019.  Tyler is also wanted for Criminal Attempt First Degree Murder, Criminal Attempt Especially Aggravated Robbery, Criminal Attempt Robbery, and Employment of a Firearm with the intent to commit a felony. Concord, NH (STL.News) Wednesday afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Jacksonville, Florida were able to locate and arrest “Fugitive of the Week,” Douglas Collins, Jr., 51 years-of-age.  Collins was wanted on an outstanding Rockingham County (NH) warrant for failing to appear on a charge of attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault. Scranton, PA (STL.News) Today, U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced the arrest of Miles Singleton – a 21-year old Moosic man. On August 24, 2019, the Scranton Police Department investigated a shooting in the 500 block of Kennedy Street. As a result of that investigation detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging Singleton with Aggravated Assault, Firearms Not to Be Carried Without License and lesser included offenses.  Attempts to find Singleton were unsuccessful and the U. US Marshals Task Force Apprehends First Degree Murder Suspect, Jermichael Davis

Memphis, TN (STL.News) - A first degree murder suspect was arrested in Memphis Tuesday. On 6/24/19 Shelby County issued arrest warrants for Jermichael Davis for First Degree Murder and Aggravated Child Abuse.  On 11-20-18 a two year old girl was shot and killed at 5900 block of Hickory Meadow, Memphis, TN.  The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force adopted the fugitive case. The fugitive was tracked to the 1150 block of Rutland. SPRINGFIELD, MO (STL.News) - U.S. Marshal Mark S. James, Western District of Missouri announces the arrest of fugitive James H. Eslinger on June 10, 2019. On Monday June 10, 2019, the U.S. Marshals Service-Midwest Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested James Eslinger near West Commercial Street in Springfield, Missouri.  Eslinger was an unregistered sex-offender, and had been a fugitive since 2017.  Eslinger’s original offense occurred in 1998, when he was convicted of the sexual assault of a 22 year old woman in Battlefield, Missouri.  Eslinger absconded from parole in the Kansas City, Missouri area in 2017, and he remained on the run from law enforcement since that time. Tucson, AZ (STL.News) - Monday afternoon, U.S. Marshals aided in the apprehension of Ian Bessinger, 36, in the 900 block of Orange Grove Road in Tucson.  Bessinger was wanted by the Pima County Sheriff’s Office in Tucson, Arizona for a probation violation stemming from charges of Aggravated Assault with a deadly Weapon and Possession of a Weapon by a Prohibited Possessor. US Marshals Task Force Arrests Fugitive Malinda Mumaw on Tips From the Public

Martinsburg, WV (STL.News) – On April 11, 2019 the U.S. Marshals Service Mountain State Fugitive Task Force requested the public’s assistance in locating fugitive Malinda Mumaw, 31, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, who was wanted by the Berkeley County Probation Department.  Mumaw had been convicted of distribution of cocaine and heroin and violated her court ordered probation. After numerous tips from the public were received, U.S. Marshals and Martinsburg City Police officers were able to locate and arrest Mumaw on the 200 block of E.
