Brock Services to Pay $35,000 to Settle EEOC Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

Company Fired Employee Because He Had Glaucoma HOUSTON, TX (STL.News) Brock Services, LLC, has agreed to pay $35,000 to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today. According to the EEOC, Brock Services forced an employee to take three eye examinations after learning he had a vision impairment related to glaucoma in one eye.  Despite his glaucoma, the eight-year employee could perform the essential functions of his position.  After the third exam, Brock Services fired the employee.
