Oregon Governor Announces Lincoln County Circuit Court Vacancy

Judge Thomas Branford to Retire from Lincoln County Bench Salem, OR (STL.News) Governor Kate Brown announced today that she is accepting applications for a judicial vacancy on the Lincoln County Circuit Court created by the planned retirement of Judge Thomas Branford.  The Governor thanked Judge Branford for his dedicated judicial service, and announced that she will fill the position by appointment.  Judge Branford’s retirement takes effect February 28, 2021. MI AG News: Alicia Holbrook-Bloink accused of embezzling from clients heads to court

Lansing, MI (STL.News) A Howell insurance agent who is accused of taking more than $375,000 of her clients’ money between 2015 and 2019 was recently bound over to circuit court on charges of embezzlement and conducting a criminal enterprise, among other felonies, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced today. A pretrial date for Alicia Holbrook-Bloink, 44, and her insurance company, Holbrook Insurance Agency LLC, is pending in the 44th Circuit Court in Livingston County.  She was bound over following a hearing Wednesday before Judge Daniel Bain in the 53rd District Court in Livingston County.
