MPD: Suspect Sought in Robbery at 400 Block of Butternut Street

Washington DC (STL.News) Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Monday, June 15, 2020, in the 400 block of Butternut Street, Northwest.

At approximately 1:00 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location.  The suspect assaulted the victim and forcibly took the victim’s property.  The victim was able to get the property back and the suspect then fled the scene.

Anyone who can identify this individual or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
